May is a particular month of the year wherein several members of my family celebrate thier birthdays!  To start with, hubby will be celebrating his natal day on the 2nd week of the month. Dd and i are planning to set up a small b-day gettogether for him, however he choose to spend his special day with us alone. So probably we'll just go out and eat in the restaurant. 

As for the gifts, i already have an idea in mind. I think a new shoes & leather wallet are a great alternative.

When i went to the city center this afternoon i was surprised to see the huge crowd along Place Saint-Pierre. I was wondering what's going on there, because stanchion ropes were being installed around the main plaza and several policemen were present also! When i returned home i told my husband about it and found out that one of the Presidential candidate on the May 6 election was there holding an assembly!

Whenever i’ve seen girls and or women playing the guitar instrument, i can’t help but admire them to have such talent. I remember when i was younger, my brother who played guitar taught me some basic lessons. Nonetheless, i don’t have enough patience to pursue and get on with it. Unlike my friend’s daughter who was taking up a self-study course via online guitar lessons. She’s not only good at playing guitar yet she also knows how to play Fulltone Pedals too!

I always wanted to have this leather chaise lounge at home for me to sit back and relax while watching my favorite tv shows. wink* One of my choices is the Euro style valencia leather chaise lounge. It is a bit pricey compared to the other brands. But i think it’s all worth it. Hubby promised to buy me one, but i don’t know yet when. Well, maybe yes.. or maybe not! Lol*

United Arab Emirates (UAE) most precisely the state of Dubai is one of the places that i considered visiting in the near future. You know why? Well, simply because i would love to see some of the city’s rich collections of breathtaking stainless steel buildings and structures of various architectural styles. Aside from that, it is also known as a famous shopping destinations for a lot of tourists. I hope oneday i’ll be able to go there and discover myself this fascinating city!

Everytime my family and I spend our summer vacation in the Philippines, I never miss to bring back home a few boxes of la flor dominicana cigars as gifts. Actually i don’t smoke as you can imagine and so is hubby. I’m not using Google+ yet, because i still don’t have enough time to navigate on google’s latest social network. But these past few days, while i was surfing online i accidentally came upon sterkly Google+ pages. I love the photos i’ve seen in there, the animals look absolutely superbe in thier natural habitat.
Google+ aims to make sharing on the web more like sharing in real life. I hope one day i’ll be able to create my own pages and invite some friends too!

The Toulouse Jewish school was attacked by a gunman riding a scooter and fire a shot at everything he could see. I’m not a fan of yoga myself but watching over these yoga dvds aspire me to attend yoga classes. I heard a lot about yoga exercise and the good benefits we can get from it. I would like to bring my daughter with me too. Because it will certainly help her cool off from all the stress caused by the coming ENS exams. Yesterday i went to accompany hubby at a furniture shop searching for a specific mattress. Unfortunately he found nothing that pleased him. On the other hand, there’s this bedroom vanity stool that catches my attention. I can’t help but getting attracted to it. Actually it was on sale, so i asked hubby to buy it for me. While we were already in the car i told him that i'd rather stay home, thus i would have spent nothing! lol

I made mistake with the switchplate i've bought yesterday. Actually i thought it has the same dimension with the old ones that we have at home, but apparently not. So, what i did is went to the store right away and tried to asked for reimbursement. Unfortunately reprisal is no longer possible considering that the said item was on sale.

Next time i’ll make sure to take the right measurement with me to avoid any discomfort.

Yesterday while we were having a short walk with hubby, we happened to passed by in one of the renowned home for the aged. I took a glance at the house markers and learned that it’s a 5 star luxury apartments. The establishment is equipped with all the high-end amenities destined for the rich elderly people. I told hubby (laughing) that when i get old and grey and have won the lottery i will be staying there for sure! lol*

Harmonica and accordion are two of the music instruments that are well appreciated by both young and old alike. In fact, they remain popular up to these days despite of the countless years since they have been existed. I love listening to this particular music too. As a matter of fact hubby and i had a few collections of harmonicas cd's at home that we "used" to listen every once in a while.

The huge winter sale is now on! Sounds interesting, in fact i’ve been waiting for this every year due to the immense rebate that stores are giving off. Hello guys! I want to greet each and everyone of you a wonderful christmas full of love and blessings! Christmas in the foreign land is completely different from what i’ve known back in my country. However, as the years passed by i learned to adapt and love it this way. Like the previous years, my family are getting «used» to celebrate christmas with just the three of us.

Right after a simple yet sumptuous dinner that both hubby and i prepared , we enjoyed watching movies together while waiting for the 12:00 midnight. Dd was very grateful for all the nice gifts she got from us. Me, a new toy too.. from dear Santa (hubby) plus some girly items from Dd that includes an eyelash growth gel. I really couldn't ask for more:)

When i was a child, yoyo was already a hit at that time. I can recall those days when my brother was getting hook on it while me with the hula hoop dance too! I just can't figure out if it was a duncan raptor yoyo that he used to play with or not. Anyhow despite of the many decades that yoyo game became a hit, it still remains a passion for a lot of people both young and old alike!

I thought metal detectors are only for people who were professional treasure hunters. Nonetheless, i knew of some individuals who are using this object for personal purposes and pleasure. They were just simple human beings who are longing to find valuable treasures buried in the middle of nowhere. lol*
Metal detectors are known to be pricey. Anyhow, if you try searching online you can also find metal detectors sale at a great value!

Yesterday i took my daughter shopping for winter shoes and clothings. Actually she’s the type of girl who loves to wear canvas shoes most of the time due to its comfort and convenience. However, with the cold freezing weather that we had right now i told her to put aside those sneakers and replaced them with something that is more ideal for the cold winter days. wink*
