pork adobo (my version)

Ingredients:

500 g pork belly (cut into serving pieces)
1 onion chopped
2 garlic (crushed)
2 bay leaves
5 pcs. cloves
1/2 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
3 tbsp soy sauce
salt & pepper to taste

how to:

* in a medium size pot marinate the meat together with all the ingredients for about an hour.
* add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil.
(you can add more water if needed)
* reduce heat and cooked until meat is tender. Bon appétit!
