
Boat Tart w/almond filling
sweet pastry crust:
250g flour
125g butter
70g sugar
2 eggyolks
5 cl milk
a pinch of salt
procedure:
. sift flour, salt, and sugar
. add the butter into the flour mixture and crumb together by hand.
. mix in the egg and milk to form a soft dough. cover the dough and refrigerate for about an hour.
. fit the dough on the bottom and both sides of a boat tart molder.
Makes about 24 pcs.
For the filling:
50g ground almonds
30g flour
40g sugar
1 pc egg
40g butter (melted)
3 tbspoon créme fraiche (sour cream)
30 g slice almonds
Preparation:
. In a bowl, beat the egg & sugar
. add melted butter and 3 tbspoon of sour cream and stir
. pour in the ground almonds & flour to the egg mixture and blend well.
. divide the filling equally on the prepared tart shells.
. spread slice almonds on top and bake at 180° C for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

hello po.. i want to make boat tarts to sell in a cheap price.. may store po kasi yung lola ko.. what can you suggest na cheaper filling po ng tart? sa mga pasalubong stores po kasi, meron yung parang hard icing na filling..
